Let he that is without sin…

I mustn’t…i really mustn’t repeat the joke, told me some decades back by a catholic priest, natch, that forms a somewhat wicked re-interpretion of the otherwise famous Pericope Adulterae.

To wit…

And Jesus said: “let he that is without sin cast the first stone”.

A frail lady approaches the crowd, picks up a rock and prepares to hurl it.

Jesus (sternly): “Mother! Put that stone down!”

No. You definitely DIDN’T get that one from me!
