Aaargh! Now that is just totally weird and totally annoying.
A phantom itch. Or more precisely, an itch on a phantom body part.
You know: a bit no longer there.
So how am i meant to scratch that?

the only solution is a phantom scratch! 😉
It’s in there somewhere… I know which part it used to be but where has it mapped to? If we knew which matrix Phil applied in his calculations, it might help but I was asleep at the time.

Liz is right, you can usually find the source of the irritation, though often in the strangest places.

I never had that particular problem. As soon as the urethra healed, it just fell off the proprioceptive map.
