The new standards of care refer to intersex as disorders. In doing thY they ate completly hypocritical given what they have to day about disordering and pathologising. Of trans. The UK psychological association is right and this soc is wrong.
As usual when trans people address intersex issues without intersex engagement trans do well and intersex do badly. This soc is a disgrace and an insult to intersex

I’m not going to advocate or apologise for a third party event. The basis on which i usually put up notifications is on the basis of who they come from: if i know the organisation and broadly trust them, i’ll cut and paste; if i don’t, i’ll find out more. As i will do now in respect of this event.

GIRES are a respected UK-based organisation working on trans issues: i am not sure they have a view on intersex. For all i know, with proper priming, they might take on board some of what you have to say on the topic…so i’m leaving this here as an invite to debate and forwarding your comment to GIRES for response.
